If you ask any martial artist as to what inspired them in the beginning, you’ll find most of the time the answer will start with Bruce and end with Lee. Quite possibly the most famous and one of the most polarizing figures of the 20th century, Bruce Lee’s work has left an almost unmatched mark in the world of martial arts.
From Anderson Silva to Jackie Chan, there are many figures that look to the Dragon as their source of inspiration in their own respective careers.

But one boy from Japan takes his Bruce Lee fandom more serious than any other before him. Five year old Ryuji Imai dressed in his Game of Death jumpsuit; complete with his set of yellow nunchucks took the Internet by storm in 2015 with his move for move rendition of Bruce Lee’s fight against Dan Inosanto in 1978’s Game of Death.
In 2016 he got the chance to impress on the big stage, appearing on NBC’s ‘Little Big Shots’ alongside Steve Harvey, where he wowed an audience with every kick, scream and strike in tribute to late Dragon.
With a performance like this he would certainly be the toughest kid on the playground.
