Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight king Jan Blachowicz has been dominant inside the Octagon for the last two years, using his fearsome “Polish power.” However, Jan Blachowicz on Ninja Warrior showed that the 38-year-old is still very human, and “Polish power” has its limitations.
Ninja Warrior has become a television brand that stretches far beyond screens in the US and what fans in the states know in American Ninja Warrior. Poland also has its own version of the show, and it just so happens that their favorite fighting son Jan Blachowicz appeared on an episode recently. [h/t BJPenn]
Jan Blachowicz on Ninja Warrior is a moment that’ll make average Joe’s feel good
Although fans on this side of the globe won’t be able to find the show on their TV service packages to see how the UFC champion did, Blachowicz took to his Twitter account and posted the footage of his attempt to traverse the unique course that has made the show so popular around the globe.

And in perfect Blachowicz tongue-in-cheek fashion, he prefaced the video by writing: “See, what happens when I don’t have my lucky bracelet.”
The Polish sports icon’s appearance was not a total failure, as he was able to traverse the first three obstacles on the course. However, several vibrating balancing stands were able to do what no fighter has done since 2019 and defeated the hulking MMA fighter.
While his days as a Polish Ninja Warrior competitor are likely behind him, Blachowicz can next be seen defending his light heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira at UFC 267 on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. That event takes place on October 30, with the main card airing at 10 pm ET exclusively on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
