In the main event of the UFC 206 Fight Pass prelims, two of the best and most versitile strikers in the light weight division squared off, Lando Vannata and John Makdessi.

What could have been a back and forth exciting fight, ending abruptly when Vannata landed a spinning hook kick in the first round that knocked Makdessi out cold.

Play-By-Play

Round 1 – They trade some low kicks with Vannata tryig all sorts of angles. Makdessi remains patient. Vannata shoots, but Makdessi easily sees it coming. Vannata goes low with a kick and high with a right. They trade body punches before Vannata lands an absolutely beautiful spinning head kick. Makdessi is asleep on his feet. Vannata simply watches him crash to the mat and admires his work before the ref waves it off.
