Uriah Hall calls Darren Till a ‘punk-a** b*tch’ who’s avoided fighting him

Veteran UFC middleweight Uriah Hall has a date set with fast-rising talent Andre Muniz in April, however, that is not the fight he was hoping for in his next Octagon appearance.
Following a four-fight win streak that moved him into the title contention conversation, Hall (17-10) came up short in a main event matchup against a red-hot Sean Strickland (25-3) in July. Obviously, the loss knocked him down a peg or two in the middleweight contender queue. However, a bounceback win in his next bout surely could have helped to regain some of that lost momentum.
In pursuit of that end, Hall revealed in a Friday interview with MMA reporter “>The Schmo that Darren Till (18-4-1) was the fight he really wanted, instead of an April 16 booking against Muniz (22-4) and his eight-fight win streak. On paper, a win over the surging Brazilian — as opposed to handing Till a fifth loss in his last six — would seem more meaningful towards the goal of a championship opportunity. However, in the UFC, victories over big-name opponents often hold more weight than Ws against rising talents. And “The Gorilla” is a big-name in the sport.
Uriah Hall says Darren Till is ‘scared’ to fight him
Alas, a booking against the six-time UFC headliner didn’t come to pass for the New Yorker. And he claims Till is scared to fight him because he “can kick his a**.”
“To be honest, it’s not something that I wanted [a fight with Muniz]. I wanted Darren Till but he’s just being a punk-a** b*tch and I don’t know what happened,” Hall said. “He’s just playing the UFC or whatnot. But he’s the guy I wanted. It makes sense.
“I wanted him [on the London card in March] but I think he’s just scared. I think he’s really scared. Either that or he’s injured or some sh*t. He’s always making excuses,” he added. “That’s how I look at him. He talks smack but I know when I stand in front of him he’s gonna be quiet. I know I can beat him. He’s short, he sucks, he’s ugly and I just know I can kick his ass.”
Till last competed in Sept. against Derek Brunson. Losing by submission in the third round of their five-round main event matchup inside the UFC APEX. He has not yet been booked for his next Octagon appearance.
