UFC 265 and the 26 competitors on the card have reached the last hurdle in their road to the event: The UFC 265 weigh-ins. The participants from the 13 planned bouts took to the scales at 10 am ET at the events host hotel.
Every fighter except flyweight Manel Kape hit the mark for their matchups. The former Rizin champion missed his grace weight by three pounds. Stay tuned for an update on is his planned bout with Ode Osbourne will go ahead as scheduled.
UFC 265 takes place tomorrow night (August 7) inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The preliminary portion of the card starts at 6 pm ET and will be simulcast on ESPN and streaming service ESPN+. That will be followed by the main card pay-per-view beginning at 10 pm ET exclusively on ESPN+ PPV for US $69.99.
The event will be headlined by an interim heavyweight title fight pitting second-ranked American, and Houston native, Derrick Lewis (25-7) against third-ranked and undefeated Frenchman Ciryl Gane (9-0). The co-main event will feature a top-10 bantamweight tilt between former featherweight champion Jose Aldo (29-7) and fellow Brazilian Pedro Munhoz (19-5).
