UFC 196 is now under a month away, and the UFC gave us a look at their newest promo spot for the event on Saturday during UFC Fight Night 82. Scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on March 5th, this card may prove to be one of the UFC’s most impressive to date. The main draw for pay-per-view buyers will be the main event, Raphael dos Anjos (24-7-0) defending his lightweight belt against featherweight champion, Conor McGregor (19-2-0).

The co-main event is also a huge draw. Holly Holm (10-0-0) taking on Miesha Tate (17-5-0) will be Holm’s first test as champion of the women’s bantamweight division since knocking out Rhonda Rousey at UFC 193. A much different fight for Holm than Rousey, this will be one to watch.

It’s been nearly 7 years since the last champion vs. champion fight when B.J. Penn moved to welterweight to fight George St-Pierre at UFC 94. Penn lost the fight. Incidentally enough, Penn has said he will be returning to competition to fight at UFC 197 in April. It will be his first fight since retiring after losing to Frankie Edgar in 2014.

The event will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Be on the lookout for more promo videos over the next few weeks, but for the time being, this should get you excited. The UFC has certainly amped up their promotion as of late.
