Have you ever wanted to know how hard UFC president Dana White can throw a punch?
Dana White’s boxing past has always been a curiosity of mixed martial arts fans; with them often wondering how he would fare is he was in a ring or cage and if he was actually a legit amateur boxer?
I fought in the amateurs. There was a f****g time and a day where the only f**** thing I cared about was boxing. That’s what I wanted to do for a living Dana reminisced on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

Fans almost got this question answered when Dana was pencilled in to fight his long standing nemesis former UFC Light heavy weight champion Tito Ortiz in a three round exhibition boxing match ion Las Vegas Nevada, as part of a contract deal for Ortiz.
But unfortunately for the fans the bout was cancelled after Tito failed to show up at the weigh in, adding further fuel to their longstanding feud and had Dana White stating that Tito was too scared he’d get beaten.
Fortunately we were able to get the next best thing, making an appearance on an episode of Sports Nation which was promoting the Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather super fight; host Michelle Beadle challenged the UFC president to test his punching power on the Boxer punch machine.
In the last few years, a few notable fighters have recorded the following scores on the Boxer punch machine:
Connor McGregor: 932
Cain Velasquez: 823
Quintin ‘Rampage’ Jackson: 784
Evander Holyfield: 756
Georges St Pierre: 732
Now it was Dana’s turn, squaring off against the machine he threw a right hand connecting flush with the bag and the total score was quite a surprise, with the score only registering at 1.
Perhaps there will be an immediate rematch in the near future.
