Compelling content on social networks has proven to be an effective way to promote both a fighter’s personal brand, as well as upcoming fights. The competition is of course fierce, but UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis is proving to be adept at breaking through the clutter with memorable, irreverent messages.
In February he called out Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson, noting he wants to bang, bro.

In a March 17 tweet, Lewis appeared to be racing a police car, and explained that it was OK, because the footage was not real, and was in fact for a movie he has coming out on the adult video site PornHub.

The image is of course a reference to the legal troubles that Jones has faced for the past couple of years.
Derrick Lewis fights Gabriel Gonzaga Derrick Lewis in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 86 on Sunday in Zagreb, Croatia. Lewis is on a two-fight win streak. Gonzaga halted a three-fight losing streak by defeating Konstantin Erokhin on Dec 11, via a careful, calculated three round decision.
