Phantom brand cameras are manufactured by Vision Research, based in Wayne, New Jersey. Their cameras are used in a broad variety of industries including: defense, industrial product development, manufacturing, automotive, scientific research, entertainment, and the fight business. Vision Research is in turn a business unit of the Materials Analysis Division of Ametek Inc., a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices.

The normal frame rate for filming sports is 30 frames per second. However, the UFC uses special Phantom cameras, that can capture between 5,000 and 10,000 frames per second, allowing you to see more than the ref or the fighters themselves. Watching a UFC fight in normal time is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. So watching it through a Phantom camera in Fight Motion is, at least 166.666667 times as fun.

Yeah science!
