In the main event of UFC Fight Night 84, Michael Bisping battled Anderson Silva for five hard rounds. When the fight ended, Bisping looked like he had been through a war, and Silva not as much. Silva almost ended the fight at the end of the third round, albeit it with some controversy.

But when the final scores were tallied, it was Bisping who was awarded the judges decision based on the scoring of each round. All three judges scored the fight 48-47, or three rounds to two for Bisping. Twitter responded to the decision with a mixed reaction:
