Known as the most accomplished featherweight in mixed martial arts history, Jose Aldo is showing no signs of slowing down as he approaches the 29th fight in his pro MMA career.
So what is the secret to his repeated success?
Determined to find out, a Brazilian reporter from Globo Esporte named Tiago put out the request to Jose Aldo and his team at Nova Uniao that he wants to go through the same championship caliber training and see if he survive until the end.

“I called the boys and said take care of Tiago, don’t be too hard. And the boys said to me ‘No, he has to suffer too.’” according to head coach Andre Pederneiras with a huge grin on his face.
Throughout the training, Tiago gets kicked, punched and submitted repeatedly, but he hangs tough which only invited more punishment from the team.
Broken down and breathing hard, Tiago couldn’t believe what he was witnessing and enduring literally first hand.
“These guys are surreal, [they] are monsters.”
Check out how Tiago fares in the training sessions below.
