There are many different types of UFC fans. Some enjoy a good back and forth brawl, certain people prefer a particular style over another, but almost everybody enjoys a well-timed or perfectly-placed knock out.

For the UFC’s twentieth anniversary, the company itself compiled and released what they believe to be the best twenty KO’s. There have been hundreds of KO’s throughout the UFC’s history at this point.

Mirko Cro Cop Filipović for years had been considered one of the best heavyweights MMA had ever seen. He’d finally been signed to the UFC after fighting overseas for all of his career. In his UFC debut, he made quick work of Eddie Sanchez which then put him in position to fight for number one contender status. He would take on Gabriel Gonzaga and the winner would fight Randy Couture for the UFC’s Heavyweight title. Many people looked past Gonzaga thinking that it would just be another easy matchup for Cro Cop but, Gonzaga used the opportunity to prove there is no such thing as an easy fight in the UFC.

2. Edson Barboza vs Terry Etim

Edson Barboza was considered one of the lightweight division’s top prospects. Riding a three-fight UFC win streak with an undefeated record, Barboza had nothing but momentum behind him going into his fight against Terry Etim. Even after winning the first two rounds of the fight, Barboza takes an unnecessary chance and lands one of the craziest kicks the UFC will ever see.

1. Chris All-American Weidman vs Anderson Silva
-UFC 162, July 7th, 2003

Anderson Silva currently holds the records for most consecutive title defenses and wins in the UFC’s history, and he is widely considered as the greatest fighter of all time. When he was on top, many looked at him as unbeatable, but Chris Weidman was not one of those men. Leading up to the fight Weidman repeatedly told Silva that he wasn’t afraid of him, which couldn’t of been proven more true when the fight finally took place and also finished.

Vitor Belfort vs Anderson Silva
-UFC 126, February 5th, 2011

The UFC’s middleweight champ waited for Vitor Belfort to relax for a split second and then delivered a vicious front kick to the challenger’s chin. Belfort, drilled by the ball of Silva’s foot, went down hard.
