On the first fight of the televised card for UFC Fight Night 86, Mairbek Taisumov made an impressive statement with a walk-off uppercut knockout.

Both men light on their feet to start. Taisumov gets to the center, and Hadzovic shifts on the outside. Taisumov kicks the lead leg. Hadzovic with a jab that scores. Taisumov fires in a few kicks that score. Jabs from Taisumov, but Hadzovic rushes forward with return fire. Hadzovic sitting down on his right hand. Hadzovic misses a spinning kick and gets caught with a counter. Hadzovic using his range well. Taisumov moving well and firing in combinations when he can. Taisumov goes again to the leg. Punches traded. Both me look sharp. Hadzovic scores, and Taisumov answers. Back and forth. Hadzovic scores a right, and Hadzovic is hurt. Hadzovic sees it and moves forward. He’s got Hadzovic against the fence. Massive uppercut. Clean shot, and Taisumov walks away.
