There’s been a lot of talk about UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey fighting men in the news.
UFC president Dana White says she’d beat Floyd Mayweather in a street fight. Commentator Joe Rogan thinks she can beat half the men in the 135-pound division.

While all of those claims may or may not be true, Rousey didn’t fare so well against middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi during a friendly workout session a couple years ago.
The topic of Floyd Mayweather vs Ronda Rousey had gotten more attention than any of us thought it could, or honestly wanted it to. In spite of several people’s personal feelings on the subject or ties to either particular sport, it’s somewhat interesting (the first 500 times you hear it) and it makes you wonder how it may go.
One of the big things that people tend to bring up is that Ronda Rousey handles men regularly in training!…

Gegard Mousasi is a Dutch mixed martial artist and kickboxer currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is the former DREAM Light Heavyweight Champion,
former DREAM Middleweight Champion, former Cage Warriors World Middleweight Champion and the former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion making Mousasi a 4 time
World Champion.
Gegard Mousasi is an experienced kickboxer first and foremost. While boxing in the Netherlands, he became an amateur champion in the sport before eventually transferring to
kickboxing. Gegard also holds a black belt in Judo.
He was born to Armenian parents in Iran during the Iran-Iraq War. At the age of 4, Mousasi and his family relocated to Leiden, Netherlands, where he finished grade school before even developing an interest in martial arts.
