With an undefeated MMA record, six UFC title defenses (and a Strikeforce title defense), magazine spreads, immense Pay Per View success as well as a budding Hollywood career it looked like UFC superstar Ronda Rousey had it all and nothing was going to stand in her way.

But one vicious head kick authored by Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia changed all that and everything around her crumbled away with ‘Rowdy’ disappearing from the spotlight completely leaving fans to wonder what was next.

In Rousey’s absence the female 135lb title has been somewhat unstable. After Holly Holm claimed the title she would lose it after a fifth round rear naked choke loss to Miesha Tate at UFC 196.

Miesha Tate then attempted her first title defense at UFC 200 in the main event slot but also fell victim to a rear naked choke at the hands of current title holder Amanda Nunes.

And as fate would have it Amanda Nunes will be making her first defense against none other than Rousey herself in what it billed as her comeback fight at UFC 207.

So after a year away from the sport and coming off the first knockout of her career many wonder how Rousey will look come fight time. Well if the following montage is anything to go by we can safely say we may get the best and most motivated incarnation of Rousey yet.
