10-time world kickboxing champion John Wayne Parr and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan put some work in at Joe’s private gym at his house. The video shows a little bit of pad work and a little bit of sparring. There were no egos, just two martial artists ‘having a move around’.

John Wayne ‘The Gunslinger’ Parr, also known as JWP, is an Australian middleweight kickboxer and boxer, fighting out of Boonchu Gym in Gold Coast, Queensland. He is a 10-time World Champion and runner up in The Contender Asia. John began training in Taekwondo at the age of 11. He started participating in professional bouts at the age of 16.

In 2007 Wayne travelled to Singapore to be part of the reality television show The Contender Asia. Wayne battled with some of the best fighters on the planet to make it to the final where he took on the pound for pound best fighter on the planet, Yodsanklai.

Wayne was put down twice in the opening rounds but come back strong to just lose on points. The Contender Asia was then aired all over the world and has had a tv audience of close to half a billion people.

Joe Rogan is an American stand-up comedian, podcaster, actor/host, mixed martial artist, and UFC color commentator. He is best known for his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, his regular tours performing stand-up comedy, color commentating for the UFC, playing Joe Garrelli on the sitcom NewsRadio, hosting the reality show Fear Factor, as well as the show Joe Rogan Questions Everything.

During high school, Rogan was a practitioner of taekwondo and gained a black belt at age 15. He soon became the Massachusetts full contact taekwondo champion four consecutive years.

He started judo at the age of 20 and after a year of training received blue belt. In 1996, Rogan began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlson Gracie at his school in Hollywood, California.

Joe is a black belt in Eddie Bravo’s 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, a style of no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and a black belt in gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Jean Jacques Machado.
