UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate recently took part in a fan Q&A in Brisbane, Australia ahead of UFC Fight Night 85, and discussed a potential fight with CrisCyborg.

The Invicta FC featherweight champion is signed by the UFC, but fights for Invicta. Although the UFC does not have a women’s 145 division, Cyborg was signed so she could drop to 135 and fight Ronda Rousey in the biggest fight in WMMA history. However, the undefeated Rousey lost to Holly Holm, who lost to Miesha Tate, so the superfight is now less super. And Cyborg does not believe she can make 135.

However, the Brazlian fighter has a dream to fight in the Octagon, in an ideal world in her home city of Curitiba, Brazil. And UFC 198: Werdum vs. Miocic will be held on May 14, 2016 at Arena daBaixada in Curitiba, Brazil.

The UFC is apparently considering a Cyborg fight, and Miesha Tate is game.

“I’ve been hearing it for such a long time, I just don’t really know, I haven’t had that confirmed,” said Tate as transcribed by Shaun Al-Shatti for MMA Fighting. “But I am open to that fight. Maybe doing it at a catchweight at 140. You know, I have nothing but respect for ‘Cyborg.’ She freaking eats girls for breakfast. She’s amazing. And it’s like, what do I have to lose in that fight? I go out there and give it everything I have, and if I’m able to take out Goliath, then I am. Yeah, I would love to step in there with someone of her caliber.”

Justino and Tate appeared together in the action film Fight Valley, slated for release next month. ‘Cupcake’ developed an amiable relationship with Cyborg during the filming, and an amiable relationship with acting.

“I was really surprised that I actually really liked it, honestly,” said Tate. “I didn’t think I would be a very good actress, and I don’t know, I have yet to find that out when I watch the movie if I was or wasn’t. But I had fun with it, that’s the difference. I didn’t think that I would enjoy it as much as I did, but I did. It was really challenging and a completely different realm. It was hard, but I liked it and I think I would like to do it a little bit more.”
