In this super fight worthy sparring session, we get a sneak peek of how a fight would go down between these two UFC Champions – Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold and Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier.

In high level mixed martial arts competition, having the right training partners is hugely important. A good training partner should be able to push you to your limits. I don’t think I’ll ever be one of those guys that flies in all these people and pays a bunch of money. Iron sharpens iron.. Luke Rockhold is the current UFC Middleweight Champion and was the last Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. He defeated Chris Weidman for the UFC belt at UFC 194 on December 12, 2015.
On his UFC title run he finished top-ranked fighters like Michael Bisping and the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida. He also holds notable wins over Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza and Tim Kennedy.
He is scheduled to fight Chris Weidman again in a rematch at UFC 199 on June 4th, 2016 for the Middleweight Championship.
About Daniel Cormier:
Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He won the vacant Light Heavyweight title against Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson at UFC 187 on May 23rd, 2015. He’s beaten notable opponents such as Josh Barnett, Frank Mir, Antonio Silva, Roy Nelson, Patrick Cummins, Dan Henderson and successfully defended his title against Alexander ‘The Mauler’ Gustafsson in a closely-contested fight at UFC 192 on October 3rd, 2015.
He is scheduled to fight Interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones in a rematch for the Unified Championship at the historical UFC 200 card on July 9th, 2016.
