UFC launched its new campaign for 2016: Unstoppable with a press conference featuring some of the biggest stars in the UFC, live at 5pm/2pmE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Friday, March 4.

However, it was UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former champion Jon Jones who stole the show with an intense dislike of each other.

Jones arrived at the event with a UFC title belt, and then the pair lit into each other with malice.

Daniel Cormier defends his title for the second time when he has a rematch with Jones in the main event of UFC 197 on April 23 in Las Vegas. The pair first fought at UFC 182 in 2015, with Jones winning a unanimous decision. However, Jones was suspended and stripped of his title, and Cormier beat Anthony Johnson to win the vacated belt belt. Cormier then defended his title successfully via Split Decision vs. Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192 on October 3 of last year.

When the pair did a faceoff with UFC President Dana White gamely keeping the two apart, Jones punctuated the moment with a ‘suck it’ gesture.

White helmed the media event, and was joined by:
•Junior dos Santos and Ben Rothwell (UFC Fight Night 86 in Croatia);
•Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson (UFC on FOX 19 in Tampa, Fla.);
•Daniel Cormier and former champ Jon Jones (UFC 197 main event in Las Vegas);
•Demetrious Johnson and Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo (UFC 197 co-main event); NS,
•Luke Rockhold and ex-champ Chris Weidman, who are reported to headline UFC 199 in June.
