After over a year on the side lines and being absent from much of the media, UFC superstar Ronda Rousey made her much anticipated comeback fight at UFC 207 after her shocking defeat a year prior to former champion Holly Holm in Australia.
But unfortunately for Rousey and her team she didn’t get the redemption that she or her fans were hoping for, after being on the receiving end of a 46 second destruction courtesy of reigning champion Amanda Nunes. The sold out pro Ronda crowd in Las Vegas was completely silenced and this loss very likely sent Rousey into a permanent retirement from the sport of mixed martial arts.

Like the millions of fans that tuning in, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars expressed their thoughts post fight on Twitter. Some responses were shocking, some gloated while many others simply couldn’t believe what had transpired in such a short amount of time.

Ronda Rousey ( born February 1, 1987) is an American mixed martial artist, judoka, and actress.
Rousey was the first U.S. woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo (Bronze), which she won at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She is the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, as well as the last Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion. She won 12 consecutive MMA fights, six in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, before suffering her first loss to Holly Holm in November 2015; she won 11 of those fights in the first round, nine of them by armbar submission.
