At UFC 196, Holly Holm will make the first defense of her UFC Women’s Bantamweight title when she battles Miesha Tate in the co-main event.

Holm earned the title in a shocking upset of Ronda Rousey at UFC 193, a fight which she dominated and then knocked out Rousey in the second round with an amazing head kick.

The adage is that you aren’t a real champion until you defend your belt, and against Miesha Tate that is exactly what Holly Holm plans to do. She is ready to prove she is a real champion.

UFC 196 takes Saturday, March 5th in Las Vegas Nevada and is headlined by a welterweight fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Holm’s title defense will serve as the event’s co-main event.
