The main event of tonight’s UFC on FOX 19 featured a lightheavyweight bout between Rashad Evans and Glover Teixiera. The event took place in Tampa, Florida.
In case you forgot, Glover Teixeira can still hit like a truck.
Rashad Evans found that out the hard way Saturday night in Tampa.
Teixeira needed just 1:48 to knock Evans out cold in the main event of UFC on FOX 19. A gigantic left hand to the jaw dropped Evans to his knees, then a right hand flush to the face caused Evans to face plant.
“I go to finish,” the 36-year old Teixeira said. “This fight is five rounds, I didn’t want to stand and do footwork, I wanted to finish. I’m like Mike Tyson, taking care of business.”
