On the second fight of the UFC 199 main card, legendary Dan Henderson delivered another unbelievable performance when he knocked out Hector Lombard in the second round.

Round 1 – Lombard shuffling on the outside. He moves side to side as Henderson just keeps the right hand cocked. Lombard leaps in with a left, but Henderson slips it. Henderson kicks the legs a bit and slips the right hand. Lombard holding the center as Henderson moves on the outside. Both men pack incredible power, and they’re loading up for one big shot. Henderson short on a right hand. He jabs and stays on the outside. Lombard kicks the leg. Henderson scores with a left hand. Henderson scores with a right hand. Lombard is hurt. Henderson walks forward, and Lombard tags him. Henderson wobbled, and Lombard throws him to the floor. Lombard in side control and looks for the keylock. He has it tight for a moment. Henderson pulls free and gets to his feet. Lombard drills him, and Henderson is hurt. Somehow he crawls up. Lombard looking for the finish. He’s swarming. Big punches coming. All heart from Henderson, but he’s hurt. Lombard pushes him to the floor. Henderson in full guard. He’s trying to tie up the wrists. Crowd chanting Henderson’s name. Henderson happy to just hold on and shake out the cobwebs. He survives until the bell. MMAjunkie gives the first to Lombard, 10-9.

Round 2 – Doctor comes in to check on Henderson, and the crowd boos. We fight on. Henderson with a kick to the legs. He kicks to the body. Another low kick. Lombard answers to the body. Lombard still loading up the big shot. Henderson fires a right and slips the left. Both men have their power hands cocked and loaded. Henderson with a high kick. The reverse elbow follows, and LombardX is down. Big punches on the ground. Lombard is out. Massive knockout.
