When Dan Henderson pulled out of his light-heavyweight title fight against Jon Jones at UFC 151 on short notice. The West Linn, Oregon gangster Chael Sonnen stepped up and offered to take the fight, but the reigning champion Jon Jones declined to take the bout as it was on such short notice.
By Chael being Chael, he continued to talk trash until he found himself scheduled to fight Bones in the main event of UFC 159, months later. This is one fight that Chael may have regretted talking himself into.
Once they were in the octagon together and the bell had rung, Jones made it a point to beat Chael at his own game to humiliate the loud mouth Oregon native. The most damage Jones sustained during the bout was self inflicted, breaking his big toe while driving off the ground to add even more devastating power to his strikes as he finished the fight.

There were no if, ands, or buts at the end of this bout. It was clear that Jones was the superior of the two men.
How do you see Jones’ bout at UFC 200 going as he attempts to take his light-heavyweight title back from Daniel Cormier? Will he be successful or will Bones taste genuine defeat for the first time in his mixed martial arts career? Let us know what you think in the comments after checking out the fight below!
About Jon Bones Jones
Jonathan Dwight “Jon” Jones (born July 19, 1987) is an American mixed martial artist and current interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He is widely regarded as the best mixed martial arts fighter in the world and as one of the greatest fighters of all time. When he won the title in March 2011 at the age of 23, he became the youngest champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) history. He was ranked as the #1 light heavyweight fighter in the world by various media outlets for a number of years, and was also ranked the #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world by multiple publications. However, in April 2015, Jones was stripped of his title and was removed from the official rankings following his arrest on felony hit-and-run charges. He was reinstated into the UFC in October 2015.
