When rumors of this fight first began circulating, no one believed it could actually happen, but over the past few weeks, things have gotten more and more interesting. Leaving fans to wonder, might we actually see The Notorious step into a boxing ring?

Floyd Mayweather was recently stopped on the street for a brief interview while alongside one of the fighters he promotes and his trainer as well. When asked about the potential bout between McGregor and himself this is what he had to say, I gotta say, Conor McGregor… He’s tough. He’s a tough competitor, he then continued , Every time he goes out there to fight, when he kicks ass, he kicks ass in the standup position. So if the fight does happen, I truly believe it’s going to be record-breaking.

Then later when asked about his fans who want to see him come out of retirement for one more fight, he answered it simply, If I do fight, it’s only against Conor McGregor. That’s going to be my only fight.

Mayweather Productions have recently filed for the trademarks for ‘TMT 50’ and also ‘TBE 50’, suggesting that he is actually considering coming out of retirement for one last fight against MMA’s biggest star.

All of this paired with the fact that Conor McGregor has recently flown out and met with his own promoter, Dana White, leaving the meeting with nothing but a smile on his face. There is only one thing that Conor McGregor seems to truly care about and it is money. What would put a bigger smile on his face than a bout with Money Mayweather?
