UFC strawweight Felice Herrig’s first appearance on American Ninja Warrior did not go quite so well. Herrig was eliminated on the very first obstacle, earning mean jeers from the Internet.
Herrig got a second chance on the most recent season of the show, but unfortunately her run did not make the broadcast. Today American Ninja Warrior released her entire run as a bonus clip on its YouTube channel:
About Felice Herrig
TRAINING: My days vary… My coaches set me up with a pretty regimented schedule each week so one day might be no gi, pads and strength and conditioning. Another day might be wrestling, live MMA drills with pad work. Another might be gi, S&C and sparring. I’m usually in the gym 2 to 3 times a day with one day off a week.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started kickboxing in 2003 out of high school because it was a sport I could still compete in after high school.
What ranks and titles have you held? I had various IKF, and WAKO kickboxing and Muay Thai titles. Blue belt in BJJ

About American Ninja Warrior
American Ninja Warrior is a sports entertainment competition spin-off of the Japanese television series Sasuke. It features hundreds of competitors attempting to complete a series of obstacle courses of increasing difficulty trying to make it to the national finals on the Las Vegas Strip, in hopes of becoming an “American Ninja Warrior”. The series began on the now-defunct cable channel G4 and now airs on NBC with encore episodes airing on Esquire Network.
To date only two competitors, rock-climber Isaac Caldiero and Geoff Britten, have won the course and achieved “Total Victory”. Caldiero is the only competitor to win the cash prize.
