These are awesome
I’ve heard only a handful of things described as perfect. I asked Renzo Gracie once if his cousin Rickson was as good as everyone said he was. Renzo thought for a moment, and said with some focus “he’s perfect.” Someone said once of Queen Elizabeth that in eight decades, she had never missed a step. That’s pretty perfect, and Joe Lauzon vs. Diego Sanchez is perfect match making.
The pair had been scheduled to fight at UFC 180 on 15 Nov 2014, but both got injured. Now the fight has been made again, for what is expected to be the biggest fight in UFC history, UFC 200 on July 9, 2016 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As Lauzon quipped on Twitter, bring a poncho.
