This is Kimbo saying to the lord and savior, please stop your flock of lambs, oh lord, from getting tattoos of me.

Kimbo’s life story reads like something out of an action film. He started working as a bouncer for a strip club, until high school friend and now fight manager, ‘Icey’ Mike Imber, offered him a job as a bodyguard for RK Netmedia. The company is better known as Reality Kings. The Miami-based adult video content production/promotion company is responsible for a large number of popular subscription websites for pornographic content, in various niches. Ferguson still maintains close ties with Reality Kings who now accompany him, as his fight entourage, under the name Team Kimbo.
In 2003, he began his career in unsanctioned mutual combat street fights. They were distributed through the Internet, mainly through an adult website and YouTube. In his very first taped fight, vs. a man named Big D, Ferguson left a large cut on his opponent’s right eye. This led to Internet fans calling him Slice, becoming the last name to his already popular childhood nickname, Kimbo.
His only on-tape unsanctioned loss was against Sean Gannon, a former Boston police officer who is now an MMA coach. The popularity of the fight propelled Slice into the MMA spotlight. He currently fights for Bellator MMA.
