This happened at a UFC gym in Flower Mound, Texas, where we see purple belt Justin Farwell, rolling with UFC Gym instructor, Jeremy Varney, a fake BJJ black belt.

Jeremy claims to be a BJJ black belt from Hawaii under BJJ black belt Mike Onzuka from O2 Martial Arts Academy.

When asked, Mike Onzuka said the following:

“I am a 3rd degree black belt under Relson Gracie and lived in Hawaii all my life. I am not going to say that I know every black belt that was awarded in Hawaii because there are a number of schools here, but I would think that I would know about 90% of them at least by name or face if not personally. I know this guy is not one of our black belts or a black belt under Relson unless he can produce his diploma with Relson’s and his main instructor’s signature.

If he provides his instructor’s name, I am willing to track down the instructor in Hawaii because I do know all long term instructors even from different schools and can ask them to verify. I am willing to call him myself if he is willing to talk to me.

By the way, I emailed the UFC gym to let them know. I also have a very good friend in the area that has a Jiu-Jitsu school in the area that knows all my black belts and used to train in Hawaii with Relson as I did.“

On Justin’s facebook page, he said this about the outing:

“I didn’t do any of this to be mean so please don’t think that. I was respectful as you can see. Here’s the deal… I know blackbelts and they all busted their asses for years and years to accomplish the rank of a jiu jitsu black belt. All my brothers that work so hard in the sport of jiu jitsu making sacrifices from there kids and families. I did this for all of you.“
