This fun match up is from UFC’s latest video game from Electronic Arts ‘EA UFC 2’ and features UFC megastar Conor McGregor taking on color commentator Joe Rogan who actually has a legitimate martial arts background despite never fighting in the UFC himself.

Rogan has legitimate black belts in BJJ both in gi and nogi as well as a high level competitive taekwondo background. Now that’s still a far cry from an elite level MMA fighter in his prime like Conor McGregor but it is still fun speculation regardless.

You can tell while both fighters are making their walkouts that the kind of realism and graphics of this latest installment from EA is really something to behold. It is also quite funny to hear Joe Rogan commentating on his own fight.

They did a good job with the likeness of each character, though Joe Rogan appears to be a little thicker in real life than he does here.

Once the fight starts you can tell from their movement that it isn’t there quite yet but it’s getting better. It is still kind of clunky looking but on the other hand a 100% realistic fighting game might not be the funnest to play – at least with the current technology.

This simulated fight ends when Rogan connects with a powerful taekwondo style wheel kick that knocks his opponent out cold in surprising fashion.
