With pound for pound boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr recently announcing he was officially coming out of retirement to fight UFC superstar Conor McGregor, the likelihood of this mixed martial arts versus Boxing super fight surprisingly moves that bit closer to reality.
I’m coming out of retirement, just to fight Conor McGregor. I don’t want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain. Let’s fight in June.”

Although there still hasn’t been any official word from either camps or the UFC, it looks like Conor has already been working hard to sharpen his boxing for the potential mega fight. Not surprisingly Conor looks to be adapting the same stance and fighting style which has won him UFC championship belts but for the boxing ring.
“Not much will change when I fight under the famed, yet very limited, Queensbury rules. No disrespect to single discipline fighters, from boxing to kicking to grappling, just know that understanding one style of fighting is simply not enough.”
What do you think of Conor’s boxing?
Conor Anthony McGregor(14 July 1988) is an Irish professional mixed martial artist who is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion and former UFC Featherweight Champion.
In 2015, at UFC 194, McGregor defeated José Aldo for the featherweight championship via knockout after thirteen seconds in the first round. This was the fastest victory in UFC title fight history. Upon defeating Eddie Alvarez for the UFC Lightweight Championship, at UFC 205 he became the only fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two divisions simultaneously.
He is well known for being the biggest pay-per-view draw in the UFC, as well as his extravagant lifestyle and trash talking.[Source: Wiki]
