UFC light heavyweight Tom Lawlor has the best weigh ins in UFC history. When the Reebok Deal mandated uniforms at weigh ins, there was concern that the colorful entrances would end, but Lawlor can’t be stopped.
At the UFC 196 weigh ins, he got Irish warrior cornrows, and tattoos of a giraffe and a tiger mysteriously appeared on McLawlor’s chest and stomach, respectively.
McGregor was caught on tape reacting to the good natured homage.
Lawlor weighed in at 204.5 lbs for fight with Corey Anderson on the main card, while featherweight champion McGregor hit 168 lbs for welterweight against lightweight Nate Diaz.
In the past Lawlor has come on stage as a wide variety of figures familiar to the hardcore fanbase.
