Nowadays it seems like there isn’t much that a professional athlete doesn’t do. There used to be a time when a professional athlete was simply that: an athlete who makes a living, or profession, by his or her athletic performance…not so much anymore.
All too often it seems that athletics has taken a backseat to the ventures that professional athletes find themselves involved in; everything from infomercials and movies to books and clothing lines. Brendan Schaub is no different with one of his many business endeavors aside from athletic being a podcast.
He is the co-host, along with Hollywood funny man Bryan Callen, of the successful podcast The Fighter and the Kid. Before a recent show, the two decided to square off in a friendly athletic competition, the sport? Arm wrestling.

About the contestants:
Bryan Callen, born January 26, 1967, is an American actor, comedian, and podcaster of Irish and Italian descent who studied acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and got his start as one of the original cast members of the sketch comedy MADtv.
Brendan Schaub, born March 18, 1983, is an American comedian, actor, a former professional football player, and a retired mixed martial artist who was a finalist and the runner-up of The Ultimate Fighter season that featured the late Kevin Kimbo Ferguson, a season simply titled Heavyweights. He co-hosts The Fighter and the Kid, a weekly podcast with comedian Bryan Callen, as well as his own podcast called Big Brown Breakdown. Schaub also regularly appears on The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan’s podcast devoted to, among other things, mixed martial arts.
