UFC Fight Night 85 takes place this Sunday, March 20th in Brisbane, Australia and airs live in the United States on FOX Sports 1 on Saturday, March 19th.
The main event features a heavyweight show down between veterans Frank Mir and Mark Hunt.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 85, former heavyweight champion Frank Mir will battle heavy hitting Mark Hunt. Mir is coming off a decision loss to Andrei Arlovski back at UFC 191 and Hunt a win over Antonio Silva at UFC 193.
Most books have Frank Mir in the +150 range meaning you get $1.50 for every dollar you bet. Put a few bucks on him but be leery about over spending.
Why: Mark Hunt is a nasty striker and Mir could fall victim to another one of his famous walk off KO’s. If Mir can get the fight to the ground though, his submission skills are guaranteed to shine through.

Ross Pearson: Even Money
In the Fight Pass headline fight, lightweight Ross Pearson takes on Chad Laprise. Pearson is coming off a decision loss to Franciso Trinaldo two months ago and Laprise a loss to the same person back in August of 2015.
This fight started out as a pick’em (no favorite) but the bets are slowly moving Ross Pearson into underdog territory. If Pearson moves to +110 or better, put some money on him.
Why: His opponent, Chad Laprise, is coming off of a TKO loss and hasn’t fought for nearly 7 months. Pearson has alternated wins and losses in his last 7 fights and lost his last fight via decision just 2 months ago. Expect Pearson to come back fresh and hungry.

Brendan O’Reilly: +375
Australia’s Brendan O’Reilly will fight Alan Jouban in the main event of the UFC Fight Night prelims on FOX Sports 1. O’Reilly is coming off a win over Vik Grujic last May and Jouban is coming off a loss to Albert Tumenov at UFC 192 this past October.
O’Reilly is one of the biggest underdogs of the card. For every dollar you put on O’Reilly, you pick up 3.75 if he wins. Now I don’t work for Lehman Brothers but that sounds like a great deal.
Why: The locals went 6-4 at UFC 193, the last event held in Australia, and O’Reilly is from Melbourne. We’ve seen judges swayed by the hometown crowd before and O’Reilly’s last two fights went the distance.

Daniel Kelly: +350
Another Austrlian, Daniel Kelly will fight on the main card on FOX Sports 1 versus Antonio Carlos Junior. Kelly last fought at UFC 193, a unanimous decision win over Steve Montgomery and Carlos Junior last fought to a no-content with Kevin Casey back in December. Prior that, he won his last UFC fight by submitted Eddie Gordon at a UFC Fight Night in June.
You can probably find Kelly as high as +400 but expect him to be around +350 at fight time. With a return of $3.50 for every dollar, this fight is worth some betting action.
Why: Not to harp on the hometown thing again but Kelly is an Aussie. He’s been to 4 olympics as a judoka and is now 3-1 in the UFC. As long as he can avoid being submitted, expect this fight to be decided by the judges, where we know anything can happen.
