The UFC ring card girls add to the entertainment value of UFC cards and while it seems like a pretty simple job, there are quite a few things that go into being a ring card girl that you may not know about.

In this video from YouTube channel ‘The Richest’ we learn some interesting facts about what goes on behind the scenes of being a ring card girl and it is not always as simple as we might think.

Interestingly enough there is no training process for ring card girls. Though you could imagine a training program for carrying around a card in between rounds would be pretty ridiculous, dealing with media and cameras isn’t for everybody and something to help with that might come in handy.

The video also makes note though that most ring card girls come from modelling backgrounds though so surely they’re used to cameras and being in the limelight.

Though the video makes reference to the UFC’s ring card girls lacking job security and we have seen many come and go throughout the years, many of the ring card girls have been doing it for quite come time now too though. The most notable being Arianny Celeste and Brittany Palmer who are both gorgeous and always in tip top shape.

What probably helps keep them around though is most likely their personalities and not simply their good looks. Like the video says, these girls are around the fighters and the production crew behind the scenes for quite a bit of time surrounding the events, so if they are pleasant to work with and professional, it makes sense to want to keep them around.
