Guy uses BJJ techniques in the street to win easily. This fight happens right in the middle of the road.
It’s a pretty quick fight and very decisive. The winner starts off by throwing an overhand right followed by a left hook to close the distance. He then quickly grabs his opponent’s legs for a takedown.
Once on the ground, he establishes the mount position and solidifies his stability. At this point, his opponent has grabbed his head. The winning fighter stays calm and works out of it.

Once the winning fighter gets his head free, he sits up and starts throwing punches downward. After several shots to the head, his opponent turns his back. The fight ends when the losing fighter goes unconscious from a rear naked choke. Check it out below!
There’s no doubt that BJJ, when it first made it’s mainstream worldwide debut in the first few UFC tournaments, drastically changed the way that people think about fighting and self defense. In the nearly 20 years that have passed from the first UFC tournament to today, people now know that if you want to compete in MMA or fighting in general, you simply must possess at least some basic BJJ skills.
But there’s been a dirty little rumor that’s also popped up along with it’s successes which states that as good as BJJ is in the the sport of fighting, it is of very little value in a real street fight or to defend against a potentially life threatening attack.
In our opinion this is just a lot of ill informed nonsense. In fact, BJJ can be one of your most valuable weapons during an attack on the streets. [source : bjjtoday.net]
The vast majority of street fights are going to end up either on the ground or withing grappling range. There’s no getting around it! Even the best strikers in the world will usually find themselves either in a clinch or on the ground.
