Anytime you see a ‘Liveleak’ watermark on a video you know it’s going to be good – albeit oftentimes rather excessive and brutal. This spinning head kick knockout video continues that same theme.

Judging by the language, the ethnic background of the combatants, as well as the palm trees in the background plus the obvious martial arts know how (as well as the phone number on the sign) – this video takes place in Thailand, the land of smiles. However, the man who loses this exchange most likely won’t be doing any smiling for a while.

As soon as this fight starts you see the man in the red shirt with his hands up high in a proper stance. He then delivers a powerful Thai-style kick to his opponent’s midsection and it is quite clear he has some sort of training. Since this video is in Thailand it is safe to assume the man in red has trained in its native art/sport of Muay Thai.

The man in red throws what looks like a teep kick five seconds in and uses it to close the distance. His opponent, the man in the blue shirt, lands a couple punches in close and delivers a kick of his own, returning the favor. His success was short lived however as his opponent then delivers a brutal, video game-esque spinning kick right to the head, knocking him out cold.

As if that wasn’t enough he then delivers four extra punches to his opponent’s unconscious head before some good Samaritans intervene.

Spinning kicks, while not often seen in Muay Thai, can be an effective weapon, especially on the street against an untrained attacker. In high level competition however it is rare as spin kicks are not as high percentage and riskier than most techniques. When they land though it is most likely night-night as this video demonstrates.
