Two thugs harassing staff at a store in Poland got more than they bargained for when the owner got his hands on them.

The two men, both in dark jackets with one wearing his hood up and the other sporting a baseball cap, were filmed on CCTV as they entered the store and began acting aggressively.

The owner emerged from the back of the store to talk to them, and things appeared to get heated as the two larger men surrounded him.

Their intimidation tactics didn’t appear to be working though as the owner wasn’t backing down, leading to a scuffle suddenly breaking out between him and one of the thugs who still had his hood up.

In the blink of an eye the shopkeeper floored him with a right hand, then without pausing immediately moved on to his partner in crime.

The owner grappled with the second thug almost out of site of the camera, though he can be seen unleashing a short flurry of right hooks before he suddenly spins the man wearing the baseball cap around and launches him to the floor alongside the other hoodlum, who’s still in a stupor.

Remarkably, the courageous shop owner isn’t done there and he quickly motions at a nearby employee and bystander to phone the police, and then attempts to pin both men to the floor at the same time.

He doesn’t immediately get help to subdue the thugs, so he has no choice but to do his best to detain them single-handedly.

As it turns out he does an admirable job in that regard, using his bodyweight to keep them on the deck, with the occasional cuff around the ear ensuring he kept the upper-hand during the struggle.

Mercifully, the other two onlookers do eventually lend a hand until several policemen finally arrive on the scene and take over.
