There is something about a thief or having something stolen from you personally that simply digs at the core of human emotion. The act of cowardice evokes feelings of helplessness and affects one’s sense of security, pride, and overall well-being. When someone takes something that someone else has worked for there is a universal begging for karma to step in and do her job…this is exactly what we witness in the video below.

Any small business owner or part-business owner can testify to the fact that the merchandise they produce, manufacture, or purchase from wholesalers to provide to the public as a service gives them a sense of ownership. Basically, what they are providing is theirs until they sell it to the customer providing the satisfaction so often guaranteed and received by both parties involved.

Ted Czech is the producer and commentator of the video below and has a personal relationship with Tom Anderton, the store owner who caught a man, wielding a knife, stealing red handed, and this is his account of the story:

I’ve known Tom “Mate” Anderton for several years — mostly for his in-cage work knocking guys out, but also as the owner of Red Lion, PA record shop, Tom’s Music Trade. Recently, the two worlds collided for Tom — and Tom’s fist collided with the head of some guy who allegedly tried to steal from Tom’s store. The guy was armed with a knife, and so Tom disarmed the guy, then got him in a standing rear naked choke and rendered him unconscious. I would expect no less from Tom, a great guy with a warm smile and a nasty stand-up game. Tom may not have fought in a while, but his fighter’s instincts kicked in.
