The ritual, which is the subject of the video below, occurs nearly every time a person paying for gas in cash fills up. The patron walks into the station, pays the cashier for the gasoline, and then walks out to his/her vehicle and pumps the gas. This is so common that we rarely even think twice about it and definitely do not think about the fact that there is a moment in time in which the gas at the pump has been paid for yet the purchaser is not yet at the pump.
The man in the video below probably felt like he had come up with a pretty good scheme. The idea was apparently to take advantage of that momentary lapse in time where the pump is unmanned yet the gas has been paid for. This seems like it might have the possibility of working out except for one fatal flaw in our petrol thief’s plan…

He neglected to secure a quick getaway plan. The petrol thief clearly was caught before he could make his escape and was confronted by the rightful owner of the gasoline. The gasoline owner simply demanded that the thief repay him for the gas and appears to be engaged in what is a seemingly calm and rash discussion.
When the petrol thief refuses to pay the man and then voices what appears to be a less than cordial comment during the course of the conversation our gasoline victim has had enough and decides that he is done talking. You simply must watch the short clip below to fully realize and understand what happens next!
