It’s unusual to see a hard fought, competitive street fight that ends with a dramatic come from behind victory and mutual show of respect, but that’s exactly what occurs in this barnburner. While they may not yet be professional fighters, it’s no stretch to conclude that the young men seen here have been around the block on more than a few occasions.

The two street warriors settling their beef in this showdown are wearing black and blue trunks, so for the purpose of this article they will be referred to as Black and Blue.

Both combatants come out of the gate swinging, but Blue seems to be landing the crisper strikes early on; however, Black is the larger of the two young men and tough as nails. After being hit with everything but the kitchen sink, Black positions his chin forward and taps on his cheek as if to say, ‘Is that all you got?’

The taunt seems to have its desired effect as Black plods forward with a barrage of punches that put Blue on the defense and send him stumbling backwards. Black eventually lands a right hand that drops Blue and sends the crowd into roaring applause, but his victory celebration is short-lived as it’s not long before Blue is back up to his feet and ready for the next round.

Blue is back in the fight with a vengeance as he lunges forward with a barrage of punches of his own— only this time he finds the mark and sends Black tumbling to the grass. Black can be seen wiping blood from his mouth as he gets back up to his feet. Both men are battered and exhausted as they take a brief moment to collect themselves heading into the third and final round, where Blue’s surging momentum proves too much for Black to handle when he drops him yet again and finishes the fight.

After spilling each other’s blood and thrilling onlookers, the two shake hands with a newfound respect for one another and go their separate ways.
