When one thinks of entertaining and exciting ways in which an altercation can come to an abrupt end many think of the knockout punch, more intimately known as the ‘one-hitter quitter’, a devastating head kick, a flying knee, or even a spinning elbow. One member of this ‘dramatic fight ending maneuver’ club that tends to get left out of these types of discussions is the body slam.
Perfected in professional wrestling rings and living rooms all over the world, the body slam has the potential to be devastating and highly effective. It is a display of brute strength, finesse, control, and ability. One of the most famous body slam knockouts is that of the late Evan Tanner performed by none other than The Huntington Beach Bad Boy himself, Tito Ortiz
More often than not, a body slam or a suplex is simply used to control an opponent and obtain a more advantageous position but what we see below is the rare fight ending maneuver performed on the street. What is so amazing about this particular slam is that the man on the receiving end obviously is resistant to the maneuver and knows that no matter the outcome it cannot be a good one seeing as they are fighting on a concrete surface.

What makes the video below even more entertaining is that there is a clear misunderstanding that has occurred between these two participants. I do not in any way, shape, or form advocate the level of violence that the clearly dominating participant engages in… but it is a quite effective way in which to make a statement.
