‘Flawless victory’ is what comes to mind when watching this brief street fight video. The first and only strike he throws ends the fight in brutal fashion. Though the winner flicks out a jab prior it looked to be more of a feint which is used to judge his opponent’s reaction. I’d be interested to know what kind of martial arts these guys have trained in (the location would help there).

Though the head kick looked to be more Muay Thai style, the open handed defensive stance of both men appear to be from a martial art of eastern origin (Karate, Kung Fu, Taekwondo, etc.). Even the gentleman who loses looks to have some sort of martial arts knowledge – based only on the brief glimpse of his movements. Though he definitely needs to work on his head kick defense.
One lesson we can take away from this video is that if you are going to fight someone on the street, it is never a good idea to fight on pavement. Grass surfaces are much more forgiving if it doesn’t go your way. As it is often the pavement which does more damage than your opponent. When you get knocked out your body doesn’t know to put your hands up to break your fall. Your body just collapses and your skull smacks the ground.
Turn your volume up and go to the fourteen second mark of this head kick knockout video. First you hear the thud of the kick landing then shortly after you hear what is most likely the thud of his skull hitting the pavement which causes significantly more damage and is often the reason people get killed in street fights.

Obviously most street and self defense encounters are spontaneous and it is always the better choice to walk away if you can but if you must fight and have a choice in the matter choose to fight on a grass surface.
