I am going to go out on a limb here and assume the mugger shown in the following footage had not seen the fight that went down aboard a Californian bus in 2010, opposing a 50-year-old bully and a 67-year-old man who kicked his ass, otherwise known as Epic beard man.

Either that, or the mugger shown in the following video is really stupid. Maybe both.

The mugger can be seen obviously plotting something with his accomplice outside of the bus, while people are getting in. The mugger gets in and tries to snatch the purse of a lady sitting at the front of the bus. She does not let go of it. This mere act of resistance is enough to scare the coward away, who tries to escape…

What followed could have been taken straight out of a kids cartoon.

The accomplice of the mugger fails to keep the bus door open, thus preventing the mugger from escaping. The bus door closes and the mugger’s hand is stuck in it!

The bus driver does not hesitate and begins to teach the attacker a lesson. In a moment of pure badassery, he picks up a bat and starts beating up the now-stuck attacker. The bus driver does not hold back on the bat strikes, either. In fact, the attacker is taking such a beating that he is now crying!

The mugger is not that tough all of a sudden, is he? The altercation comes to and end when the bus driver tries to talk some sense into him and lets him go… right into the police’s arms.
I have seen a good amount of muggers or bullies being stupid, but this one takes the cake.
