Whether you’re law enforcement, military or just a carrying citizen, this video may teach some tricks that could potentially help save you or a loved one’s life one day.
As much as we would all liked to, we unfortunately don’t live in a perfect world and there are times when the martial arts that we train become necessary for self defense, but, sometimes that may not be enough to effectively defend ourselves, but that doesn’t mean we can’t adapt and evolve those skills of ours to get the job down.

Many without the proper training believe that having a firearm will automatically win you a fight, but there are many factors to take account for. Being able to effectively draw the firearm while keeping a safe distance being one of the many, but with the help of Muay Thai that can become so much easier. Depending on the distance available, you can either use a teep to create space or a crushing elbow to damage your opponent if it is closer quarters.
What other martial arts would you like to see adapted to firearms training? Have you tinkered with this at all on your own before seeing it? Let us know all of your thoughts and more in the comments after watching the video below!

About Muay Thai
Muay Thai is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This physical and mental discipline which includes combat on shins is known as “the art of eight limbs” because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, shins, being associated with a good physical preparation that makes a full-contact fighter very efficient. Muay Thai became widespread internationally in the twentieth century, when practitioners defeated notable practitioners of other martial arts.
