All movements of Krav Maga are built under the natural motor of the human body; and they are very simple, which facilitates the activation of a reaction in a situation of danger and surprise. Its technique is intended to prevent the attacker hits the target and simultaneously simplifies and increases the strength of movements counter strike. Self-defense should be simple, objective and fast. A situation that may require all these features is an attempt to choke, because if the victim does not react properly, it could leads to death quickly. This type of aggression can happen at any time.

This video shows how to defend a front choke attack and how to escape. The aggressor is holding her neck with both hands to cut off the blood flow and breathing. It is a sequence of movements, where the person should trap the wrist of the aggressor, with no thumbs up, just fingers on top, stretch the right arm up locking behind the ear, trying to squeeze the hand of the attacker. Then, a step back with the left foot while rotating the body 90 degrees to the left and hanging back at that time the attacker already released her throat. It creates space to strike the offender or get away, because the aggressor may strike again.
