The guys at Funker Tactical have committed to providing free martial arts and firearms training to people with physical disabilities.
Cole Rogers is inspiration. Despite a physical disability, he strives to better himself with martial arts and tactical training.
From his Youtube page:
My name is Cole Rogers, here you can see how I adapt concepts from the Filipino as well Israeli combat systems to be suited for a disabled person. This specific video shows how I adapt weapons versus weapons as well as empty hands versus weapons techniques. Please share this video and help me spread the word about disabled martial arts. All questions and video requests are welcome. Filmed at Bayside Martial Arts in Los Osos CA. Filming and editing by Griff McConnel.
About Bayside Martial Arts
We’re proud to have been part of the Baywood-Los Osos community for a decade now, and we look forward to the next 10 years.
Located in downtown Baywood, our dojo has become a hub for locals interested in the martial arts.
Many a friendship has formed here as people learn and grow together in the supportive, fun atmosphere Mr. B. promotes.
Founder and instructor Randal Bodlak has been training in the martial arts for 35 years and holds instructor ranks in Kenpo, Tai Chi, and Escrima.
In 2001 he returned to his hometown of Los Osos with his beautiful wife and daughter to teach and share his love of the martial arts.
Mr. B. continues to explore various styles and systems, always refining and passing on to his students the best, most effective elements that he finds.
