Former UFC champ champ Conor McGregor owns Eire Born Spirits, which controls his Conor McGregor’s Proper No Twelve Irish Whiskey.
Becle SAB de CV controls Proximo, the owner of Bushmills whiskey, owns Jose Cuervo Tequila, and held a 20% share in Eire Born Spirits. Now Becle has exercised an option to buy an additional 29 percent stake in Eire Born Spirits; it paid 1,531m pesos ($69 million).
That puts a valuation on McGregor’s whiskey business of $237 million.
