Russian UFC featherweight Zabit Magomedsharipov has arguably the most exciting kicking style in the UFC. The Chinese martial arts-based fighter is on an eleven-fight win streak, the last three in the UFC. He won a performance bonus in each of his first two UFC fights, and capped that with a fight of the night decision win over Kyle Bochniak at UFC 223 on April 7.
If Magomedsharipov doesn’t have the most exciting kicking style in the league, then that role is owned by the Taekwondo-based Mexican fighter Yair Rodriguez. ‘El Pantera’ is coming off a loss to Frankie Edgar, but prior to that also won two performance bonuses and a fight of the night in a row.
And now in a blessed bit of matchmaking, the two will fight each other at UFC 226. The extremely well connect Lance Pugmire broke the great news.
