KSW returns this Saturday, April 22, with XTB KSW 81 live from the Arena Lodowa, Tomaszow Mazowiecki, Poland. The vacant KSW welterweight championship will be decided in the main event as the undefeated Adrian Bartosinski (12-0) meets the explosive Artur Szczepaniak (9-1).
Bartosinski made his KSW debut in 2021 after a successful stint on the reality TV show “Only One.” He has since gone 4-0 in the promotion, winning all fights by stoppage to earn his spot as No. 1 contender. His opponent, Szczepaniak, has also made a similar impact in KSW. The 26-year-old burst into the promotion in 2022 and scored back to back first round finishes, including a headkick KO win over Brian Hooi last time out.
While the main event features two of the new generation’s stars, the co-main event will see two heavyweight kickboxing veterans go head to head in the MMA arena as Poland’s Tomasz Sarara (1-1) goes up against Dutch legend Errol Zimmerman (0-1). Both men have had storied careers in the striking world with multiple world & European titles between them. This should be a true barnburner for as long as it lasts.
Elsewhere on the card, rising star Igor Michaliszyn (9-2) goes up against the hard-hitting Krystian Bielski (9-4), Irish MMA’s Henry Fadipe (13-9-1) returns and will try to offer some more magic in his sophomore appearance in the KSW cage when he takes on Marcin Krakowiak (11-4), and two top female fighters go head to head as Georgia’s Sofiia Bagishvili (7-2) meets Brazil’s Maria Silva (8-1).
XTB KSW 81 is available to watch live this Saturday, April 22, live around the world on KSWTV.com and the KSW App and exclusively on Viaplay in the UK, Poland, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and the Baltics.
